This is usually a classic tour for first timers in India. Visit the famous sites in the north part of the country including Delhi, Varanasi, Khajuraho, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ranakhpur and Mumbai.

Day 1. Arrive Delhi (-/-/-)
Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 2. Delhi (B/-/-)
Today after breakfast proceed for the city tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi visit Jama Masjid, the Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, and enjoy a walking tour in Chandni Chowk - the silver street. Later visit the Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan. In the afternoon visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb - a predecessor to The Taj Mahal in Agra and the India Gate. Also drive past the President’s House and Parliament House.
Day 3. Delhi - Varanasi (B/-/-)
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus and is mentioned in the great epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana. In the afternoon free time to wander around the city.
Day 4. Varanasi - Khajuraho (B/-/-)
Early morning proceed for the boat ride on the river Ganges, followed by a half-day tour of Varanasi, where you visit the Alamgir Mosque, Durga Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, the Banaras Hindu University and the archaeological museum. Later transfer to the airport to board your flight to Khajuraho.
Day 5. Khajuraho - Jhansi / Jhansi – Agra (B/-/-)
Today visit the Eastern and Western group of temples. After visiting the temples proceed to Jhansi. En-route, visit Orchha, famous for its Jain temple. Reach Jhansi railway station to board your train, the Shatabdi Express to Agra.
Day 6. Agra (B/-/-)
Today you will start with a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Then visit the Agra Fort. You will also visit the Itimat-ud-Daula, a jewel of Islamic architecture.
Day 7. Agra - Jaipur (B/-/-)
Today after breakfast proceed to Jaipur, visit en-route the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to Jaipur, the famous "Pink City". This Indian trade center is a marvel in pink sandstone. Here you will spend two nights.
Day 8. Jaipur (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit the Amber Fort. This is one of the most fascinating of the Indian forts.
Afternoon, visit the City Palace. A visit to The Observatory will also be arranged. Also drive past the Hawa Mahal.
Day 9. Jaipur - Jodhpur (B/-/-)
After breakfast set out on the drive to Jodhpur which takes 3 to 4 hrs. Jodhpur is known for its impressive fortifield bastions. Afternoon visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort on a 37m low sandstone hill built in 1459. Proceed to the Jaswant Thada. At the end of the tour enjoy a short walk through the vibrant bazaar of Jodhpur.
Day 10. Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur (B/-/-)
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. En-route visit Ranakpur, the wonderful 3 temples of the Jain sect dating back to the 14th/15th century. Continue to Udaipur.
Day 11. Udaipur (B/-/-)
After breakfast visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, and later the Jagdish Temple (1651).
Day 12. Udaipur - Mumbai (B/-/-)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. Sightseeing, including the Gateway of India, drive past the Secretariat of Maharashtra Government and along the Marine Drive. Visit Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his visits to Mumbai. Drive past the Victoria Terminus, see the Dabbawalas, a unique delivery service run by workers delivering lunch to executives from their homes. Visit the 'Dhobi Ghat', and the ISKON Temple in time for the noon aarti and then continue to the colourful Crawford market and Flora fountain, a large bustling square in the heart of the city.
Day 13. Departure (B/-/-)
Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule for your flight back to the UK.
