Day 1. Arrive Amritsar (-/-/-)

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Amritsar airport.

Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take a rest in the hotel.

In the evening Palki service at the Golden Temple. 

There is a continuous singing of Gurbani Kirtan (hymns) at Sri Harimandir Sahib from the opening of its portals (doors) to their closing. During this process these devotees sing the Gurbani Kirtan in melodious and devotional tones. After purifying the precincts, the rugs are spread, on which the Peera Sahib (a small cot) is placed to install the Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the early morning. At the completion of the Ardas (Sikh Prayer), Karah Prasad (holy offering) is distributed among the devotees.

At Sri Akal Takhat, after the Rehras (Evening Scripture) the weapons belonging to Guru Sahib (Sikh Masters) and Martyr Sikhs are displayed at about 8.00 p.m.

Day 2. Amritsar (B/-/-)

Full day city tour of Amritsar. Visit the Golden Temple, and the Jalia Wala Bagh, a public garden in Amritsar which houses a memorial of national importance, established in 1951 by the Government of India, to commemorate the massacre of peaceful celebrators including unarmed women and children by British occupying forces, on the occasion of the Punjabi New Year on April 13, 1919.

Lunch at Virasat Haveli, a large family restaurant. The rich culture of Punjab is well depicted in the ambience & hospitality of Haveli. The restaurant is strategically located on the outskirts of the city away from the busy city life,

overlooking green fields. 

  Later straight away proceed to Wagah border.

 A visit to the Wagah Border is an interesting experience, especially at sunset while retreat takes place when Indian and Pakistani border troops put up a spectacular display. The border is about 30 kms from Virasat Haveli.

Day 3. Amritsar - Haridwar - Rishikesh (B/-/-)

Today early in the morning you will be transferred to the train station where you will board your train to Haridwar (train departure 06:55, arrival to Haridwar 14:00). Arrive Haridwar, and continue to Rishikesh (30mins drive). Check in to your hotel. In the evening Aarti Ceremony at Parmarth Ashram.

Day 4. Rishikesh (B/-/-)

Today morning Yoga session followed by Meditation at your hotel (45min -1hrs).

During the day  drive to Hindola Khal (approx. 1 hour drive) and then further trek (5 kms  moderate trek) to Kunjapuri. Traveling towards Gangotri, about 6 km from Narendra Nagar the road bifurcates at Hindola Khal, leading to the shrine, which is 5 km further. The trek of 5 kms is moderate and you come across pine trees, fields. Interact with locals as you meet them on the way to peak, the locals here are known for their simplicity.

Visit the Kunjapuri Devi Temple, said to be one of the Shakti peethas and the Hindu legend has it that the upper half body of Sati, wife of Shiva, fell here when Shiva was carrying her dead body to Kailash after Sati immolated herself when her father Daksha insulted her husband Shiva.

It is located at an altitude of 1645m and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks to the north and Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun valleys to the south.

On a clear day Kunjapuri offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley and Himalayan mountain ranges. Have picnic breakfast at the peak and then trek down to board your vehicles back to Rishkesh. 

In the afternoon, sightseeing of Rishikesh's Ashrams (yoga centres).

Day 5. Rishikesh  - Haridwar via Raja Ji National Park (B/-/-)

Morning drive to Raja Ji National Park, to spot the wild Elephants. Later drive to Haridwar. 

Haridwar is the point where the Ganga emerges from the Himalayas to begin its progress across the plains. Legend has it that the Holy Ganga the holiest of all rivers, which flows through this sacred city, has actually been sanctified by the powerful Trinity of Hindu mythology. According to Devotees Haridwar is one of the places (other three being Ujjain, Nasik and Allahabad), upon which the Amrit (Nectar) of immortality emerging out of the churning of ocean fell. This is manifested in two great events that take place in Haridwar, the memorable and huge religious Mela - Kumbh Mela (fair) which happens once every twelve years and the Ardh Kumbh Mela, which comes once every six years. The scenic beauty and the lush green surrounding forests, a unique Gurukul system of traditional education, still followed in some institutions here, the temples and the ghats, a huge number of Ashrams and Dharmashalas; all give the city a unique flavor and charm.

Haridwar sightseeing includes Shanti Kunj, Jain Temple, Pawan Dham, Kankhal, Daksha Mahadev Temple followed by Aarti ceremony at the ghat of Har ki Pauri.


Day 6. Haridwar - Delhi by Janshatabdi Train (B/-/-)

Transfer from your hotel to the railway station. Take the train to Delhi (departure 06:23, arrival to Delhi 11:10). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon combined city tour of Old & New Delhi. Enjoy a Metro ride in Delhi with the local crowd of Delhities.

Day 7. Delhi - Agra by Shatabadi Train (B/-/-)

Transfer from your hotel to the railway station. Take the train to Agra (departure 06:05, arrival to Agra 08:03). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later full day city tour including a visit to the Taj Mahal & Agra Fort.

Day 8. Agra - Lucknow by Intercity express (B/-/-)

Transfer from your hotel to the railway station. Take the 05:50 train to Lucknow. Upon arrival at 11:45,  transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will take you on a city tour of Lucknow. Go around the fabled monuments that

include La Martiniere, Dilkusha, Sadat Ali & Begum Tombs, Lucknow Residency, Asafi

Imambara, Rumi Darwaza and Husainabad Imambara.

Day 9. Lucknow (B/-/-)

Today morning, we take you on a heritage walk of Lucknow.

 Lucknow is not just any other city, but a chapter that folds and unfolds itself each time one visits this epicenter of culture. We have exclusively designed a heritage walk for you, taking you into the lanes and by-lanes of Chowk, exploring the unexplored and explaining how vast a history this city of superlatives holds. They say each building in the old city has an anecdote and a gamut of tales connected to it. Our expert heritage guides take you into the bygone era of this city that is a world unto itself. Also stroll at the Chowk market or Hazratganj on a heritage walk trail and end your day with a Kebab roll from Tundey Kebab or Basket Chaat from Royal Cafe.
